ON HIS PEDIGREE: Wulfs Signature 9302S: the maternal grandsire of Hunt Credentials 37C ET, who is the #1 bull in the breed for milk, #15 for total maternal, and had a significant impact in improving marbling in the Limousin breed.
• KAKE Jericho 5J: Long, thick, and quiet. A maternal grandson of WULFS Unmatched 2311U, who was part of a winning pen of 3 at the National Western Stock Show, and had a significant impact in reducing birth weight and increasing calving ease in our herd. Jericho's first daughters are calving this spring.
• SY Bank Draft 795F: #8 in the breed for CED #11 for birth weight, and top 40 for CEM and docility. He has not walked this earth in a decade, but we continue to use him where we need worry-free calving ease, quiet disposition, and added milk.
• KAKE 116Z: the matriarch of one of our favorite maternal lines. A feminine powerhouse known for her calves' tremendous growth and extreme docility. Born late June and had her first calf in March of her 2-year-old year, and weaned her last calf at 13 last year - demonstrating exceptional fertility and longevity. Her grandson, KAKE Fiat 11F (see also 13N) is #2 in the breed for birth weight and #7 for CED.

ABOUT THIS BULL: He'll make you do a double take. Beautiful head and smooth shoulder, with signature Limousin length and muscle.
Check out his half brother, 62N, and 3/4 brother, 80N, and you'll see the length and muscle expression we expect from the Jericho line. They represent the stretch, muscle, and carcass qualities that lead cattlemen to Limousin, with the added marketability of a black hide.
He ranks in the top 1% of the breed for fat thickness, 10% for yield grade, 20% for dry matter intake, CEM, and milk, and 25% for birth weight.

HOW WE’D USE HIM: We'd put him on bigger heifers or cows for the first year. He's built for calving ease, but there is potential for some added birth weight from 116Z.
Expect ultimate docility, length, and muscle expression from his calves. The ones that go to the feedlot will be extremely efficient and yield grade well.
