ON HIS PEDIGREE: VL Hunker Down 003H: A CELL Envision 7023E son who ranks in the top 1% of the breed for yearling weight and gestation, 2% for weaning weight and average daily gain, 5% for carcass weight, 10% for docility and ribeye, and 15% for total maternal.
• WULFS Ka-Ching 0762K: We had the opportunity to buy one of a limited number of semen packages from Ka-Ching, and we're sure glad we took it. His calves have been outstanding in thickness and balance (see also 48N and 52N), and are phenotypically consistent with their sire. He ranks in the top 20% of the breed or better for 16 traits, from gestation to carcass and all four indexes.
• KAKE Gisele 36G: A granddaughter of LFLC Checking Account 701C. One of our classiest females, she is 4 for 5 in raising calves that stay plugged into a breeding program (the fifth was a close candidate if not for a 99-pound birth weight). She's raising a COLE Landslide 25L heifer in 2026.
• KAKE Jajaja 22J: We really liked WULFS Reagan 2011R, the sire of WULFS Walcott F711W, for his calving ease and balance, so we tried Walcott on the LFLC Checking Account 701C granddaughter, Giselle, to temper her birth weight.

ABOUT THIS BULL: He looked good early on, but he just keeps getting better.
Of the three Ka-Ching brothers, he's most closely related to 52N on the maternal side, but will be slightly more moderately framed. He's taller than 48N, but neck-and-neck with him for the thickest bull in the pen.
He ranks in the top 10% of the breed for ribeye, 15% for gestation length, 20% for maternal calving ease and docility, 25% for average daily gain and yield grade, and 30% for birth weight.
