KAKE Night Watch 62N
Born March 22, 2025 @ 75 lbs
Black | Double Polled | F94L: 2
BW Ratio: 92 | WW Ratio: 106

ON HIS PEDIGREE: WULFS Signature 9302S: the maternal grandsire of Hunt Credentials 37C ET, who is the #1 bull in the breed for milk, #15 for TM, and had a significant impact in improving marbling in the Limousin breed.
• KAKE Jericho 5J: Long, thick, and quiet. A maternal grandson of WULFS Unmatched 2311U, who was part of a winning pen of 3 at the National Western Stock Show, and had a significant impact in reducing birth weight and increasing calving ease in our herd. Jericho's first daughters are calving this spring.
• L7 Ezra 7085E: This son of IVY'S Bubba Watson HTZ24B was the high-seller on Peterson's sale in 2019. With his performance and EPD profile, Ezra boosted growth, muscle, and carcass qualities in his calves with an extra dose of docility.
• KAKE K-Pop 100K: A remarkable but very unassuming Ezra daughter who poured everything into this calf as a heifer. Heavy fall rains kept us from weaning when we planned, so she nursed this calf for over 8 months, weaning him at 760 pounds. We thought we'd be sending her down the road empty last fall, but she's carrying a KAKE John Daly 29J (by WULFS Abe Y510A) calf right on schedule for this spring calving season.
ABOUT THIS BULL: We didn't expect the black heifer bull prospect with the highest weaning weight ratio to come out of a heifer, but here we are.
He's long and thick like his half brothers, 5N and 80N. The Jericho sons represent the stretch, muscle, and carcass qualities that lead cattlemen to Limousin, with the added marketability of a black hide.
He ranks in the top 1% of the breed for fat thickness, 2% for yield grade, 15% for ribeye, and 20% for both calving ease traits and milk.
HOW WE’D USE HIM: We'd try him on larger frame heifers or cows where moderate birth weight and calving ease is needed.
He'd be an excellent complement to a deep-bodied, easy-fleshing Angus or baldie herd.
